Dear Uncle James,
Thanks for being a wonderful man of God, dedicated family man, role model and special person. You proved that you can touch many lives by being kind,soft-spoken and caring for everyone that you come in contact with. Totally opposite of most people in this world. I will miss your smile, guitar lessons, and letting Angie and I ask you a million questions without getting irritated with us. I strive to not let anything upset me (what was your secret?)I thank you for being part of my village that helped raise me and giving me many nuggets of wisdom.

The world will be a sadder place without this wonderful man. I have worked with James for many years and have never experienced a kinder more gentle soul. He was a special person. I will miss our conversations about music. Just seeing James made my day better. I am sorry for your families loss. Your are in my thoughts. We miss you James. Love Janet

I am so sorry with the loss of a very nice humble man. James always take care of everything you needed at CHO .He always had that beautiful smile that will be remebered forever. He liked to sing and never be moody. He was a good collegue and he shall be missed. We will always carry him in our hearts. I wish his wife and childeren the best and lots of strength. Bless you all

To Our Hampton, Johnson and Collins extended family. The man known so lovingly as Jimmy Jr. will always hold a special place in our hearts. Although he was taken from us so prematurely without question he is in a better place with those loving family members that went on before him. His loving, humble and kind spirit will be greatly missed in this earthly world. The Pearsons are saddened that they will not be in attendance to his homegoing today as they just found out about it this morning but know that we are there with you in spirit. We love you all!

To Our Hampton and Johnson extended family. The Pearsons are deeply saddened by the loss of Jimmy Jr. We have the fondest memories of his loving, humble and kind spirit. He will be greatly missed. Praying that his homegoing turns into the biggest celebration of his life. Unfortunately we just learned of it this morning therefore will not be in attendance. Send him home in style. Love you all.

My Uncle James was truly a wonderful and kind hearted man. There was nothing he wouldn't do for me, his family, or his friends. I was reminded of this fact just today as I witnessed a multitude of Children Hospital employees come in and out of the mortuary, sharing their personal "James" stories with the family. They loved him as much as we did...he was that kind of man! Rest in Peace Uncle James and keep a special eye out for your wild nieces down here who relied on your wisdom..especially when it came to men. I love you, and will never forget how special you were to me. Thank You for Everything!!!

James was such a wonderful co-worker. I always looked forward to our Good Mornings and hellos. His warm smile and peaceful manner were always a pleasure during my day. I'll miss him very much. To his family, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
