Antonia Lopez Obituary

Antonia H. Lopez June 13, 1920 - Sept. 12, 2010 Resident of Fremont Antonia was born June 13, 1920 in San Julian, Jalisco, Mexico to Cecilio and Carmen Hernandez. "Tonia" passed-away on September 12, 2010 at Kaiser Hospital in Fremont. Beloved wife of the late Tony Lopez, she leaves behind her sons, Richard and John Lopez; her sister Connie Baltierra; a brother, Frank Hernandez, and grandson Johnny Lopez. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and Godchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; a son, Alfred ("Freddy"), and brothers Ralph, Rudy and Joe Hernandez. Tonia devoted most of her life to raising her 3 sons, and caring for her son Alfred. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and spending time together with her family. Visitation will be held on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, with a Funeral Service and Rosary beginning at 12:30 pm, at Holy Angels Funeral & Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Rd, Hayward, CA 94542. Private inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests contributions be made in Tonia's memory to United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate, 1970 Broadway, Suite 115, Oakland, CA 94612, or visit www.ucpgg.org to donate online.
