Alvera Mendoza Jul. 24, 1919 - Sept. 12, 2010 Resident of Dublin Alvera Mendoza, longtime resident of Dublin, passed away at age 91 on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Pleasanton. Born in Oakland, July 24, 1919, she was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Gabriel Mendoza and her son, Steven Mendoza. Alvera was a member of St. Raymond's Church and the Catholic Daughters. She loved family, reading, gardening and playing Canasta. She is survived by her daughters, Delores Pipitone of Livermore, Marlene Keating of Tracy, and Phyllis Mendoza of Pleasanton. She was the proud grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 19. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. on Monday, September 20 at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Avenue, Dublin.
