George Lawrence Pimentel, Jr. "Bud" Feb. 24, 1934 - Sept. 16, 2010 Resident of Fremont George L. Pimentel Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the age of 76 while surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Fremont where he resided most of his life. George graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory School in 1952, and went on to attend Ohlone Junior College. At various stages of his life, George worked for the Portuguese Fraternal Society (UPEC), the Italian Catholic Federation, was in banking, and later was a professional tax preparer. Viewing will be on Sunday, September 19th from 5-8pm with a vigil service at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 20th 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, 94536. Internment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
