Nadine O'HARE Obituary

Nora O'Hare (nee' Sullivan ) Born 8/14/20 Oakland, CA Entered into eternal rest 9/13/10 Resident of Oakland Nora was a graduate of Holy Names High School and Office Manager for Pacific Oxygen Co. for many years. She and her husband Paul owned the Derby Dairy Market in Berkeley, where she developed her locally renown lunch counter enjoyed by many regulars. She was an ardent gardener, excellent chef and loved entertaining. She never tired of reminiscing about her many trips to Ireland, where her parents were born, and France, Spain, Italy and yearly family outings to Lake Tahoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and John Sullivan, and her husband Paul. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Jack and Patricia Sullivan; cousin Dorothy Campbell; nieces and nephews Nancy, John, James, Margi, Terry and Jane Sullivan; and grand-nieces and -nephews Dan, Meghan, Caitlan, Collette, Jamie and Cody, as well as the neighbors mutually annexed as relatives. The family wishes to express appreciation to the kindness of her caregivers Diana and Araceli. Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life to be held Wednesday 9/22/10 at 10:00am at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 30 Mandalay Rd., Oakland, CA. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery. Reception at Nora's home. Nora ("Nonie") will be profoundly missed by her many friends and family.
