Marie Wiesner Obituary

Marie C. Wiesner July 24, 1915 - Sept. 20, 2010 Resident of Kensington Marie C. Wiesner, 95, a retired teacher and administrator with the Richmond schools and a long time resident of Kensington, died September 20, 2010. Born July 24, 1915, in Oakland to Otho and Marie Zugg, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Wilford A. Pope and Werner Wiesner and two sisters, Maxine M. Zugg and Lorraine A. Slater. She is survived by her daughter, Judith M. Pope of Kensington; grandchildren Kristian P. Jarvis of El Cerrito and Mrs. Micah (Samantha) Sager of Oakland; sister-in-law Barbara F. Gay of Oakland; niece Victoria B. Gay of Oakland; and nephews Paul A. Slater of Berkeley and Geoffrey P. Gray of Modesto. Services were private with interment in Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the El Cerrito Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. Sunset View Cemetery (510) 525-5111
