Reba Schechtman

Reba Schechtman Resident of Piedmont Reba Schechtman at age 92, passed away September 27, 2010 in her Piedmont home where she lived for the past 62 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Isadore and her son Stanley. She is survived by her son Marvin Schechtman and his wife Jeri, her grandsons David and Joshua, her brother Eugene Myers, his wife Marjorie along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Oakland in 1938. She joyously devoted much of her life volunteering for Temple Beth Abraham. She cherished friendship and was rewarded with many wonderful loyal loving friends. She will be missed. Services will be held at the Home of Eternity Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA on Wednesday, September 29th at 10:30am. Donations in her memory can be made to the Centennial Fund of Temple Beth Abraham, Oakland.
