Hi Robin,
I served with Don in the Army in Merrill Barracks, Nuremberg, Germany, 1961 - 1963.
We were in the same office for these years and became good friends.
He was one of my best friends in the Army. We had some really good times together.
I remember your wedding. After Damon was born, I baby sat him a couple of times.
After I got out of the service I went to stay with his folks in Berkeley for a couple of months,
until I found a job and place of my own. I even bought my first motorcycle from his brother Bill.
Many years ago, Don was in Billings, MT, on business, and called me up.
We had a really nice visit. I am sorry that we never kept in contact with each other.
I am truly very sorry to hear about his passing.
I wish you all the best.

Don packed more quality living in seventy one years than most centurians. Golfing, tennis, grilling, family affairs, all was approached with zest and a positive spirit. He was a great guy to hang out with because his enthusiasm was contageous. I will greatly miss you Don.

Robin,
Linda and I send all our love and comfort to you in this most difficult time. Your love for Don, and his for you, was so apparent, endearing and a model for all marriages.

Peace as soon as possible, Bob and Linda

Dear Robin, I was so, so sad to read of Don's passing. You and Don were such a joy to my Mother, Kathleen Sherrill and so good to my sisters and me after she and Nicole left us. I would like to think of them all as having some wine and sharing stories together now. My thoughts are with you and your family. Love, Heidi Garrison nee Sherrill
