Warren Steinbeck Obituary

Warren Richard Steinbeck Warren Richard Steinbeck, born in Oakland, CA on June 21, 1931 passed away on September 28, 2010 in Lincoln, CA, surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with leukemia. He is survived by Arlene, his wife of 58 years, and three children - Susan Foltz (Bob), Dennis Steinbeck (Lydia), and Sandy Wilson (Michael); 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children. Warren is also survived by brother Bob Steinbeck and four sisters Marilyn Smith, Barbara Prange, Charlene Rogers, and Sharon Self. Warren followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a meat cutter for over 30 years. The first ten years with Steinbeck-Theiss Meat Company in Oakland, CA and then he went on to work as a meat manager for Park and Shop Markets. After retiring as a meat cutter, he worked in real estate and was a partner in Bellinger, Steinbeck, and Roberts Realty in Castro Valley, CA. and also Associate Broker for Grant Realty in Modesto CA and Vancouver WA. Family and friends are invited to the memorial service planned for 2 pm Saturday, October 9th at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5901 Lone Tree Blvd, Rocklin CA.
