I Venise Boykin the wife of Tschum Boykin would like to thank all those who took the time to write amazing words of wisdom about him and prayers to his family. Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of his death and his family is prayerfully making it through with the grace of God. Thank you all for loving him, being his friend and honoring his spirit. To my dearest husband, Tschum there will never be one like you and your presence will ring through our hearts like harps from an angel. Peace be will us all.

My prayers go out to Mrs. Boykin and your sons, and His entire family. I worked with Tshum at the bank in SanFrancisco back in 1995. I moved back to the east coast in 1999 and as I was trying to look him up I discovered your loss. Im terribly saddened. Tshum was easily one of the most positive brothers I've ever worked with.May God heal all your hearts during this difficult time.

Although I didn't know your husband and father, I do know the pain and sorrow death brings to families. And from the many, many visitors on his guestbook, I can tell he was a remarkable person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, please pray to the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort and ask Him to bring a measure of comfort to you and your family as you grieve. The Bible assures us God is healing the broken hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot. I have personally found this to be so true. With sincere sympathy,

To the Boykin family, for the short time I knew Tuchum, what I learned about him, he was a loving husban and father. He was also a very strong black man who put his family first. He was very out spoken about his concerns. As our short relationship grew he became part of our Jr. Bear family. I would like to send my deepest Condolences. It was very hard to hear that he had passed away. My hart was heavy. We will keep your family in our everyday prayers.

I got to know Tschum on a camping trip with Jordyn's class. He was kind, warmhearted, and full of love for his family. My family has been remembering the joy that showed in both in his face and in those of the children as he zoomed a remote control car around the campsite and had all the kids chasing it. It breaks my heart to hear of his tragic passing. Venise, Jordyn, and Xzavier, we are grieving for your loss. Elizabeth, Kag, Milo and Henry.

From the day I first met Tschum an untold number of years ago, we became and remained fast friends. I know how special his family was to him as many of our conversations lead to him sharing with me how much he loved his wife and children. Tschum was not shy about expressing how much he cherished every moment he was able to spend with his family and for that he always had my greatest respect.
During this time of sorrow, I would like to offer my support and deepest condolences to his family. Tschum will be sorely missed by the innumerable people who's lives he touched.

My son is friends with Xzavier at Peralta Elementary. Although I didn't know Tschum well, it was obvious he was a great family man. I am heartbroken that he is gone and sad that he will be so greatly missed. Talking to my son again tonight about Tschum, he remembered that when he first met him, "He didn't even say hello, he just sprayed me with a squirt gun!" We had a little laugh over that. Venise, Jordyn and Xzavier, you have my deepest condolences and friendship. We are here for you.

My condolences to the Boykin family and friends.
I never rode with “T” but we shared a common passion for family and motorcycles, our conversation would call to mind the elation each ride would bring, then the topic would change to the family and the various projects that were in the works and then without fail he would express his love for his wife and children.
We’ll miss you “T” but I believe you are peace with God experiencing those greener pastures beside quiet waters.

As a motorcyclist it’s always heart breaking when a fellow motorcyclist is injured or worse but to hear about Tschum today, someone who I enjoyed working with for so many years, his passing causes me tremendous sadness. Whether working with Tschum or yakking about motorcycles, a visit with Tschum in his cube or in the lab was always a pleasure, an adventure, a look into the style of a man who carried himself with style. Spending time with Tschum was like you were a special guest in the unique world of a man who enjoyed life, maybe even relished life, loved his family and he will be sorely missed.
