Carl and I send our deepest prayers to Rick's family. We were both touched by Rick, his quiet helpfulness and smile were always appreciated.
May you have peace, Rick.

Rick was the best brother ever. He was always thinking of family first. "Uncle Rick" always encouraged my children to continue their education and provided support to help them do that, whether it was a laptop computer or asking them about their homework. He never failed to bring us the yearly picture of his daughter whom he was very proud of.
Rick never forgot my birthday, always bringing a fancy cake and some nice tea or bath oils. I will miss Rick at the holiday table. I wish he didn't leave us so soon. Love forever Cindy

My best wishes to all of Rick's family and friends during this difficult time. I met Rick over 20 years ago and was his colleague and coworker through all that time. I will always remember Rick's gentleness and his astonishing ability to keep his mind on details. Many time we worked together long hours into the night after most others had left the building. Often we would find ourselves laughing as the night wore on and we got close to whatever goal we were pursing. He was a good man.

My sympathies and regards to all of Rick's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Rick for about 5 years at MDL. He was always helpful and kind. Rick assisted me when I was in a car accident near work one day -- a kindness I will always remember.
Rick, you left us too soon... We will miss you.
