Doris Ann Young

Doris Ann (Holmes) Young Resident of San Lorenzo Doris Ann (Holmes) Young of San Lorenzo died Oct. 21 at St. Rose Hospital in Haywayd. She was born Oct. 26, 1954 in Denver. Doris was raised in Hayward and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. "To know her was to love her. She was loved and cherished by her two sons and husband. She will be greatly missed." said son Richard Ray Jr. She is survived by her husband Rick Young; sons Richard Ray Jr. of Tracy and Michael Ray of Hayward; mother Betty Holmes of Hayward; brother Dennis Holmes and his wife Sally of Livermore; sister Karen Dixon and her husband Mike of Lemon Valley, Nev.; sister Brenda Holmes of Lemon Valley, Nev.; and nieces Sarah of Hayward, Rachel of Lemon Valley, Nev., and Sarah and Haley of Livermore. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at 4800 Perugia St., Dublin.
