Vincent Bellini Obituary

Vincent Maurice Bellini Feb. 15, 1945 - Oct. 12, 2010 Formerly of Benicia Vincent Maurice Bellini, 65, passed away unexpectedly at home in San Diego, CA on Oct. 12, 2010. He was the son of the late Vince and Ruth Bellini. He was the oldest of 3 siblings. Our dearest Vince will be remembered for his generous spirit, innumerable acts of kindness and devotion to his family. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and friends. An accomplished woodworker, Vince could create or fix anything. He especially loved his Irish heritage and had been spending much time lately searching the Bellini and Hogan ancestry. Vince, known for his gift of 'gab' and a bit of the blarney, enjoyed meeting people and was not shy about striking up conversations about most any subject with whomever he came in contact. Vince moved to San Diego in the last two years to be near his 3 grandchildren, whom he adored. He truly was a man of many and varied talents and skills. He will be missed greatly by family, friends and everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Judie Bellini; daughter, Lisa Bellini of Benicia, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mitchell Priest of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Jackson, Jonah and Jameson Priest of San Diego; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Gabriel Crotti of Hayward; niece Gina Faria and nephew Giovanni Crotti; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Bellini of Nevada; nephews Ashley and Michael Bellini, nieces Natalie Shiflett and Jennifer Bellini. A Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held Nov. 4, 2010 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 860 Oak Grove Road, Concord, CA.

My memories of Vince are fond from way back when we were kids, living just 4 houses away. Our parents were friends and us kids all went to St. Jarlath's together. My heart goes out to the Bellini family as I lost my brother, Peter last year.....he and Vince were buddies. It is tough to lose your loved one but hold on to those good thoughts that will make you smile.
Love and God's Blessings,

-Lena (Piombo) Duncan

Bellini Family:
So sorry to read about Vince's passing. I worked at St. Francis School for many years and I remember how supportive he was and gave so willingly of his time to help the school. Our thoughts are with Judy and his lovely daughters. Rest in peace, Vince.
