Claud H. Norell

Claud H. Norell A long time Hayward resident passed away on 10/26/2010. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on 7/5/1924 to Carl Henry and Leah Lucinda Norell. He was preceded in death by his sister Hulda M. Norell, brother Dick C. Norell, wife of 64 years, Bea L. Norell and grandson Andrew M. Henson. He is survived by his sister Ruby (Harvey) Logan of Las Vegas, Nevada., and cousin Carol (Bob) Ingram of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is also survived by this children; Suzanne Bowers, Mark C. Norell and Carol Ann Norell, his son-in-law Michael Bowers and daughter-in-law Karen Norell; five grand-children; Karrie (Bob) Mosca, Emily (Doug) Hunter, Kirstie M. Norell, Eric J. Norell and Bryan (Leanna) Norell and four great-grandchildren, Dax Hunter, Lilly Norell, Ethan and Jacob Mosca. He served in the Marine Corps in WWII from 1943 to 1946 and was honorally discharged as a Corporal. He was a former member of the SIRS Branch 26, San Leandro, CA; Mission Peak Mineral and Gem Club, Castro Valley Mineral and Gem Club, Ye Old Timers Mineral Club, Inc., and a forty year veteran of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their travel trailer and on tours around the world. He also loved family gatherings Viewing and service Friday, will be on November 5, 2010 from 10-12 at The Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
