Roxane Stevenson Bergam

Roxane Stevenson Bergam Feb 17, 1954 - Nov 1, 2010 Fairfield, CA Roxane was a creative, intelligent and caring daughter, mother, wife, sister, and aunt during her 54 years on earth. As a LVN, Roxane worked as a Phlebotomist and more recently caring for patients requiring hospice care. Her kindness and compassion for others came natural for her. Roxane attended school in San Lorenzo graduating from Arroyo High School and Chabot College. She married David Bergam and gave birth to three beautiful children , Amy, Nicholas, and Haley. Roxane's strong interest in nature and science has been passed on to her children who have all excelled in their schoolwork. It was not unusual to find housework ignored as she led them on nature hikes around the yard emphasizing the wonders of the outdoors. Instead of television, she would clear off the table to make way for a microscope. Her love of education was infectious. She also leaves behind her parents, Norman and Barbara Stevenson formerly of San Lorenzo and Newark now residing in Vacaville, sisters Eileen (Stevenson) McDonald and husband Mike of Newark and Heidi (Stevenson) McCaughin of Danville. She was a loving aunt to Ryan, Megan, Kevin & Katie (McDonald) and Casey, Molly, and Erin McCaughin. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, November 4 at Nadeau Family Funeral Home 180 E. Monte Vista Ave Vacaville 707-455-7700. Viewing 11-1 Memorial Service following at 1pm.
