Arthur Angus Sinclair AKA Sinky Born: July 1, 1916 in Visitation Valley CA Died: October 23, 2010 in Oakland CA Arthur Angus Sinclair, Sinky, 94 years old, of Oakland died Saturday October 23d at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1916 in Visitation Valley California to Mitchell and Josephine Sinclair. On August 3, 1940 he married Virginia Lee Watkins, celebrating 70 years together this year. Sinky was an avid ham radio operator, getting his general license in 1931 with call sign W6FKQ. He did electronic sales and marketing until his retirement. He resided in Oakland for 87 years. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two children, Jim (Candace) Sinclair and Linda Sinclair, two granddaughters, Kirstin and Adriane; and one great granddaughter Ella; niece Nancy (Bill) Lewis and their three children Jeff, Chuck and Sarah.
