Viola was the most precious "mommy person" I've ever met. She made my visit up the hill to Downeyville the most memorable. She's in the arms of the Lord now. My blessings and peace to the family.

May you rest in peace sweet lady. Viola you have influenced many members of my family. Your friendship with my mom was the true definition of being a "Girlfriend". Just plain ole visiting at each others houses, sharing family dinners/shin digs and of course playing cards "Rocked" according to our young folks. My memories of you are filled with your beautiful smile, comforting shaking of your pointer finger (just an extra reminder of how much she loved you) only wanting and preaching the best interest for her family and friends. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother was the total love of her life. Whether she was in Downeyville or Hayward you better have you best foot forward, be respectful, kind. Then she would end her thought with closing her eyes and turning head with a nod of sincerity. I will miss this truly strong devoted woman very much. Love you Viola. I bet you are playing cards and watching TV with my mom in heaven. Lucky ladies at peace.
