Doris Eleanor Calland Billings

Doris Eleanor Calland Billings Sept. 10, 1928 - Nov. 3, 2010 Resident, Hayward + 50 years Beloved wife of Harry "Don" Billings; mother of Donald Billings, Carrie Epperly, Addie Griffiths, and John Billings; sister of Donna Sargent; and grandmother and great-grandmother to numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Paul and her brother Gene. Doris was a homemaker and liked to sew clothes for her children. She was a wedding coordinator, volunteered at Eden Hospital, was active in the PTA at Markham Elementary. She was a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Hayward and a past president of Hill and Valley Club. Viewing and Service will take place at Sorensen Bros Mortuary, 1140 B Street, Hayward on Thursday, November 11, 2010 (viewing from 8:30 to 10:30 am, followed immediately by a Memorial service).
