Clifford HUNTER Obituary

Clifford Hunter Resident of Pleasanton Everybody says Clifford James Hunter was such a great guy, so it is with great sadness that we announce his passing on November 8, 2010. Cliff was enjoying his favorite pastime, motocross riding, when he suffered minor injuries, which lead to serious complications. Cliff was born in San Francisco, raised in San Jose and graduated from Soquel High School. Based in Pleasanton, Cliff built a successful manufacturing rep firm, Hunter Chase Associates. He was devoted to his children and they brought him his greatest joy. He also enjoyed a strong relationship with his church, Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore. Cliff is survived by his wife, Lourdes; his 3 children Chase, Haley and Cole; his father Richard Hunter of Newcastle; four sisters Karen McGillivray of Newcastle; Kim Mindling of Santa Cruz; Kristy Sanden of Soquel; Kerry Pohle of Bigfork, MT; and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 22 at 11:00am at Cornerstone Fellowship, 348 North Canyons Parkway, Livermore, CA, 94551. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hunter Family Trust. Details may be found at the following website: www.caringbridge.org/visit/cliffhunter

Dear Hunter Family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear about Cliff. I grew up with him in the neighborhood as kids. He was in some of my classes in elementary school. I think I had a secret crush on him in the 5th grade, as did a lot of girls! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I can't imagine how difficult it must be, but I know your faith will see you through. So sorry. Love to you all!
