I give my deepest sympathies and condolences to your father Con Phelan. My fondest memory of your father is when he took his time to drop by our house one day and showed me how to play my new and first drum set that my father purchased for me. I was so excited to hear him play and to hear his encouraging words. Ever since that first lesson I have never stopped playing drums and he was catalyst that started me as a musician ever since. He will be sorely missed.

To the Phelan Family. Deepest condolences from the McGrath Family in London England. My father (Connie McGrath) said that he regarded Connie Phelan like a brother when they were growing up as young boys in Limerick city in the 1930s. An outstanding muscian and gifted individual and morally sincere and upright Irishman - may he rest in peace.
