Please know of my special prayer for Genevieve and all the family at this difficult time. I did not know her personally, but when I was principal of a very poor school in Oakland, she sent me a donation. She had heard from a friend that we needed help and wanted to do her part. You don´t find too many people like that today. I will never forget her generosity. She surely made a difference in the lives of many people! May God hold her close and give her eternal peace and joy!

Mrs. Beltran was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed. I lived next door to the Beltran's and was lucky to have them in my life as I grew up. After moving from my parent's house Mrs. Beltran continued to be involved with my family, especially my two older sons and I will be eternally grateful for her help and support.

My condolences to the family. Mrs Beltran took care of me when I was a baby a preemie and I know she is part of the reason I am here. My dad worked with and every year it was a tradition for us to go trick or treating to their home I have many memories of this and the joy in seeing them every year, as I am now out of state with my own family I send my love, thougths and prayers to her family. She was a remarkable woman whom I will never forget and always be lbessed to have known

I so wish I could be there with the family at this time... but since I can't.. I just want to say how much I will miss Aunt Gennie.. she always brought such sweetness to any family gathering and I regret all the years that have gone by that I've missed out on and couldn't be there. My heart is very sad for Victor and Vonnie especially,, but also for all the family who I know are so heart sick right now .. The best consolation is that she is with our Heavenly Father and bringing her special sunshine to heaven which will be shining down on all of us here on earth!

I met Genny and Frank in 1987 when I began dating Robert Olsen (Ray & Terry Olsen's son - far more than neighbors). They were wonderfully friendly and I so enjoyed talking to both of them. I was shocked when Frank passed away but now he's with Genny together again. I always enjoyed talking to Genny when I'd come over and see her gardening in the front yard. We had wonderful talks about the twin boy's we'd adopted and our joys and struggles. She was always encouraging and supportive. Genny was at our wedding, my baby shower and in the past several years at many other family celebrations. We were with her just barely over a month ago at my son's 15th birthday party at the Elephant Bar in Hayward. She was so wonderful and I loved including her in our celebrations! Our son Ricky so enjoyed talking to Genny about Art. Genny......thank you for all the wonderful times of sharing.....I'll never forget your tight squeezes, laughter, encouragement and genuine love for all 3 of our boys. I enjoyed the wonderful tamales each Christmas. The mark you left in our lives will never be forgotten. We love you and wish you peace on this next leg of your journey.

I loved working with Gennie at Hayward Health Center because she was such a sweet and positive person. Love for her grandchildren permeated her discussions about them. May God bless all those in her family. Terry Enns

Victor and I were at their place eating Val's Burgers. I had cut my hamburger in half and only took half my onion rings. A few minutes later MomBeltran came home and walked into the kitchen. I yelled to her I had some onion rings in there if she wanted some. A few minutes later she walked back in the livingroom with not only the onion rings...but the other half of my burger!! You can ALWAYS have the other half of my Val's Burger, MomBeltran!! You'll be greatly missed! Love, Yvette "O)x

Aunt Genny was such a blessing to many. Someone who could always make you laugh. She will truly be missed. I can see her dancing now with Uncle Frank. He must have gotten the biggest smile ever seeing her walk into heaven to be right back with him. To Victor and Bonnie, I am truly sorry for your loss, words do not describe your mother at all. Prayers are with you guys.
Love, Veronica Beltran Duenas
