Lorraine DeValle Resident of Castro Valley Sunrise June 22, 1922 Sunset November 10, 2010 In loving memory of Lorraine Marie DeValle, who passed peacefully after a good and productive life. Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband Louie DeValle, parents Joe Faria Sr. and Sarah Faria, sister Hazel Sousa, brother Joe Faria Jr., and life long friend Ella Kraus. Lorraine is survived by her loving children Penny DeValle and Randy DeValle (Wanda), her precious grandchildren Shawn DeValle and Nicole Claire DeValle, sister Dorothy Gill, nephew Ron Sousa (Barbara), niece Nancy Rather (Bill), and extended family Esther, Mike, Kristin and Keith Zierau. Lorraine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, including trips to Reno and Disneyland. Our Mother loved baseball, cooking, soap operas and taking care of her home. Her door was always open. All who entered her home felt the love and care as experienced by her family. You could always count on her to be there for you with open arms and a willing heart. We will have fond memories of the many family parties our mother hosted; filled with laughter, playing Pedro, eating fava beans and linguisa. She will be greatly missed by all, and we are thankful she is at peace and with her loved ones who preceded her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 17, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with a Vigil and Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 18, 2010 at 10:00 am, all at Holy Angels Funeral & Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Rd, Hayward, CA 94542,. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center FD 1456 (510) 537-6600
