Eunice Pegram Obituary

Eunice "Jane" Pegram July 31, 1931 Nov. 11, 2010 Resident of Alameda Eunice "Jane" Pegram passed peacefully from this earth on November 11, at the age of 79. Mom was born in Detroit, Michigan, but moved to the Bay Area where she spent most of her life. A homemaker, secretary, and teacher's aide, mom enjoyed camping in the Redwoods, bowling, and going to the theater. She is survived by her children, James Robert Pegram (RoseAnn) and Nancy Ottobre (Ron) as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Stanley Dutton Pegram, daughter Diane, sister Marion Stubbee, and brother Robert Allen Canfield. The family wishes to extend our gratitude to the Hospice of the East Bay and the "angels" at the Brun's House who helped our mom pass in peace. Condolences can be extended from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with a memorial service from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel, 1139 Saranap Ave., Walnut Creek on Wednesday, November 17. Graveside service will be on Thursday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m., Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, California. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of the East Bay, 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, Calif. 94523 Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel (925) 934-5400
