Edward King

Edward Earl King Resident of California April 8, 1934 - Nov. 8, 2010 Edward King, 76, died from cancer on Monday, November 8 at his home in California. Ed was born in Fort Scott, Kansas to Charles and Beulah King. They moved to Portland, Oregon in the late 1930's. Ed graduated from Highland Grade School in 1948 and Benson High School in 1952. He joined the U.S. Army in 1952 and served for three years. He married Kathy Scales and they moved to California. They later divorced. In 1983 Ed married Connie Huggins. Ed worked and retired from Ampex Corporation in Redwood City then worked at Orchard Supply in Newark for several years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and sailing. Survivors include his wife, son Patrick, mother, sister Sharon Parkin, brothers David and Darrell, step-children Rocque and Tonya Huggins, grandchildren Charlie King and Brittany Vava-Huggins, nieces and nephews.
