Raymond Robinson Obituary

Raymond William Robinson Resident of Hayward Sept. 22, 1946 - Nov. 18, 2010 Raymond William Robinson passed away on Thursday after a lengthy and valiant battle with lung cancer. Raymond was born in Hagerstown, MD to George and Mary Robinson. After graduating from high school he joined the Navy and moved to CA. After two tours of duty in Viet Nam Ray joined the Navy Reserve and continued to serve his country until he was forced to retire. He also enjoyed his job at Kraft Automotive in Oakland for 30 years. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Susan, devoted children Stacey Hayes of Orlando, FL. Georgette Robinson (Tony Casaray) of Hayward, CA. George Robinson of Stockton, CA. Michael Robinson (Jen) of Hayward, CA. And Tina Vratil (Eric) of Glenpool, OK. His 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren will all miss their beloved Beanpa! He is also survived by his sister MaryAnn Rowland of Hagerstown, MD. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday Nov. 28th from 4:30 til 8:30 p.m. And funeral service on Monday Nov. 29th at 10 a.m. At Chapel of the Chimes 32993 Mission Blvd. Hayward CA 94544. I got to know Ray because of his sister Mary Ann and I will always be grateful. I met him over email but I had the priviledge to meet him in person several years ago. He always made me laugh. He was a great man and will be missed. My prayers are with all of you.
