Ricardo Grave Obituary

Ricardo Grave Resident of Hayward and Puerto Rico May 25, 1962 to Nov. 27, 2010 Rick to his family, Rico to his co-workers. Rick passed away unexepectedly from an aneurysm. His wonderful smile and always cheerful attitude will be missed. Rick was born in Oakland and raised in Hayward. He graduated from Tennyson High and Chabot College. Rick lived in Germany for a year as a foreign exchange student. While at Chabot College Rick started a 27 year career with Costco. Starting in Hayward and working in several stores in the Bay Area before moving to Puerto Rico to help start new Costco stores there. He started as a cart pusher and worked his way into management. Rick enjoyed traveling and photography. He has tens of thousands of photos of his trips around the world. He is survived by his parents, Juan and Carmen of Hayward, his brother, Nelson, of Fremont and his friend Josue. He was loved by his all his aunts, uncles and cousins. We will all miss you.

While I have not seen Rick in years, we caught back up on FaceBook. Nelson, Rick and I were friends in high school. I will always remember the kindness and his smile. My sympathy goes out to Nelson and the his family.

I was very fortunate to have made friends with Rick over 17 years ago, he was an angel then and he is now. Although we lost touch over the recent years, his passing will be a void for us all. My deepest Sympathy to his Mother, Father , Brother and all Family members.
