Marie Croly Obituary

Marie Elisabeth (Betty) Croly (1923-2010) FAICP of Berkeley, CA Passed peacefully on 5 December 2010. Born in Great Neck, NY, Betty was a resident of Berkeley, CA since 1948. A dedicated public servant, she retired as a city planner for Alameda County and volunteered on numerous planning and public works committees. She is survived by her brother Henry and sisters Nancy (John) Kasius and Ruth Assalena, her nephews Brian (Kathy), Allan (Samantha), and Dean (Susan) and godchildren Aileen Efigenio and Bob Hayashida. Betty Croly, FAICP, was honored for Extraordinary Commitment to Planning History and Lifetime Achievement in Service to APA.
