Eleanor Olesen Obituary

Eleanor Mae Olesen Resident of San Leandro Born 06/12/1937 completed her earthly tasks on 12/08/10. In her absence the torch of service has been passed onto her children, grand children and great grandchildren, listed below in birth order. Children: Thomas, Robert, Lois Anne, Darrell John, Gennie Ruth, Rebecca June, the twins Randall Lee and Patricia Joan, GrandChildren: Elvis Lee, Christine Marie, Alice Mae, Jo Anna, John Mark Darrell, Great Grand: Sekoyah Ann Marie, SheyAnne Cassey. Eleanor was a Registered Nurse for 49 years, Pianist and Organist, Church Secretary and Missionary to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Uganda, Africa. Maker of the best ever Chocolate Chip Cookies! Ever the humble servant she was our honor and pleasure to serve. Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church 1183 B St. Hayward on Tuesday December, 14th 2010 11:00 AM.

Our loss is truly Heaven's gain...she was a wonderful woman of God in every respect. I'll never forget her impact on our lives. Was out of town & found out too late to attend her service, but my condolences are extended to her family & loved ones. Praying for all...
