William Anderson Obituary

William 'Billy' Anderson Resident of Oakland, CA. William 'Billy' Anderson of Oakland, CA passed away November 18, 2010. Billy was the brother of Grace B. Payne and Vannis Anderson, who both preceded him in death. Billy retired from Alameda County after 31 years of service. After his retirement from the county, he worked as a skycap at the Oakland International Airport for nearly 10 years. He was 91 years old. He leaves behind his wife, Dewayne Mitchell-Anderson; his niece, Maxine A. Lovett of Denver, CO, his step-granddaughter, Holly Crawford of Minnesota and 3 generations of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011, at: The Chapel of Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA.
