As a kid, I was always excited when Dad and Mom said we were visiting the Dardani's. I always looked forward to visiting my Godparents, Pete and Bess. I have lots of fond memories of those times. A lot of the conversation was on flying and the Navy. Two of the most thrilling times I had as a small boy was when Pete took me for a ride on his motorcycle and on an airplane. I always looked up to him and I will miss him.
