We're all sorry to hear of his passing. Dennis was a great role model for all of us (then) young members of the St. Mathias Cadets in the early '60s.

Please accept our thoughts and prayers. Dennis was my drum instructor in the Mariners and he later judged many of my drum lines. He was always trying to help by being creative, kind, honest, fair, and positive. He was an asset to the entire drum corps community and will be missed.

Dennis introduced my brothers and I to the "behind the scenes" part of Drum Corp International after the Mariners. 33 years later we still work for Drum Corp all because of Dennis.
Dennis was a very important part of our young lives.

It's been over 40 years since Dennis and I marched as drummers in rival Milwaukee Drum Corps. He as a St. Matthias Cadet, I in the Starlites. But I have never forgotten how kind he always was to everyone.
