C. Straub Obituary

Straub, C. Donald Many years of Elm Grove, Born to Eternal Life July 12, 2008, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Jordis. Loving father of Steven, the late Susan, Peggy (Brian) Van Horn, and William (Elaine Wilhelm) Straub. Proud and loving grandpa of Julia and Lily Van Horn. Also remembered by other relatives and friends. Don was a graduate of UW-Madison Law School and for many years was the legal manager for Wausau Insurance Co. To Don the legal profession was more than a job. It was a passion he enjoyed. Don was a veteran of WWII and was proud to have served in the Battle of the Bulge. Special thanks to Home Instead Senior Care and Horizon Home Health for their wonderful care, which allowed our dad to live independently at home. Visitation Wednesday July 16, at the funeral home from 5-7PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, at 10AM, at St. Mary's Visitation Parish (1260 Church St., Elm Grove) followed by graveside services at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials to Wheaton Franciscan-Marian Franciscan Center would be appreciated. Sympathy Expressions www.BeckerRitter.com BECKER RITTER Michael Feerick Associate 14075 W. I would like to express my sympathy for the loss of your father. Sue was a very dear friend of mine (and my husband), and I miss her dearly. I know how much your father meant to her. I hope you find comfort in knowing they are now together.
