To the Domingo M. Fernandez Family:
I want to express my heartfelt sorrow for the death of my beloved Tio Domingo Fernandez.
Almighty God, I thank you for my uncle Domingo. As an elder to me Domingo was always a trusted confidant and loyal friend of my father Felix Mireles, his cousin. Tio Domingo always shared a kind word and laugh to make me feel loved every time we met.
I was unable to attend the funeral or wake to share our sorrow together.
I just want to share my love with all my cousins Yolanda, Jane, Esther, Olga, Connie, Sam, Art, Jessie, Domingo, and Danny and pray that our Lord our God heals our hearts.
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To-day thou shall be with me in paradise. Luke 23:43
The peace of God be with you all.

GRANDPA,
When I came home on that monday night and my mom had told me that you had passed away. I told her that I had just saw you on saturday. That you had looked fine, and happy. I thought she was kidding, but she wasnt. So im just really glad I got to see you one last time before you left us. But im also happy because now your up in heaven with Grandma. Holding hands and looking down on this really big family that you've left behind.

GRANDPA,
I still can't believe your gone. But I'm thankful for the time we did have together. I'll miss the times sitting outside in the summer listening to the cubs game on the radio. I remember when the cubs would mess up you would always say ahhh cucaracha guys!!!! That always makes me laugh. It makes me sad to know that your gone, but at the same time I feel a little bit better, because I know that u are with Grandma watching all of us together, smiling, hand in hand. I love you Grandpa.....
Love Your Grandson,

Grandpa,
When i hugged you on April 4th, I did not know that it would be our last. I'm glad i got the chance to see you and say goodbye to you. I know your in heaven looking down telling me not to cry, but these are not tears of sorrow, but of joy! Joy of knowing that you are with Jesus, smiling. We love you and will miss you.
Love always your granddaughter
