Steve, Marie, and Stacy- I was so sorry to hear of Diz's passing. My mom called me with the news as I was out of town until 7/3. This is a difficult time for your family, but keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart. Diz was such a big part of my growing up, and I still think about him every time I have my 11 year old's baseball team on the field. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Times like these serve to reinforce the words of Henry James: "Live as much as you can, it is a mistake not to.", and I'm reminded of an old Irish blessing, "Deep peace of the earth be with you, peace of the earth to you." In sympathy and friendship, my thoughts are with you.

Steve and your entire family... I think of you all every day as I pass your house (is it still?) by the church on 83rd. I was so sorry to see the passing of your father who I remember as a very dear man. Bless you all... we are thinking of you.
