I didn't know John, in fact, I am from another part of the country, but this man defeated our great nation and for that reason, he's a hero to my family and myself. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that heaven is one angel richer.

my dear brother. It is hard to put in words what you mean to me. Still can't wrap my brain around you being gone. You always showed the way for all of us kids...strong willed, yet always tender. john,we think about you everyday and you are in our prayers. I miss you calling me everyday or every-other day, and how we could sit up and just talk about everything going on with the kids and justin with his sports and mine with there sports and we could just sit and laugh together just like were brothers and sisters and no one ever got mad. we always had each others back no matter what the problem was. I still get up everyday saying did john call me yet. I will miss you very much.
