Mike and Douglas,

I just found out about your loss and was deeply saddened. I worked with Donna at IBC and she was a wonderful person. No matter what bad she was having to endure, she always had a smile on her face and it seemed everything lit up when she was around. Please know that she is in a better place and free from pain.

Douglas, I have been through the pain of watching a parent pass from cancer and my prayers are with you during your grief. Please accept whatever counseling is offered to you as it will be of great service. Also, remember nothing is more important than family at this time.

I don't remember Donna, but I knew her mother Rosemary who just passed and no greater person existed. She took such good care of my Mom when she was in the nursing home. I don't think they come any better then Rosemary's children. My prayers are with both of you.

Mike and Family,

Dear Mike, Doug and Family,
Jennifer and I were very saddened to learn of Donna's passing. Donna was a special person with a big heart and tremendous intelligence. I had the priviledge of working with her at Robert D. O'Byrne and Associates. She had no problem out-working and out-thinking the rest of us in the Retirement Plan Department...and she did it with a smile. She was fun, she married a really good guy and although I have only met Doug a time or two, I am certain she was a great mom. She had a big fun family too. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mike,
I was so very sorry to hear about Donna.
It was a great pleasure to have had her as my boss, mentor and friend at UMB. She was such a terrific person.
(It was of course a pleasure to have worked with you too - back in the day).
I am so glad you two found each other and had the time together that you did.
My sincerest sympathy to you, Doug, and the rest of the Moeller/Otto family.

I too, had the opportunity to work with both Donna and Mike at UMB. What a dynamic person! Donna was the type who made you feel comfortable regardless of whom you were. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Donna was a manager who put the team in teamwork. It is evident from the entries in this memory book, while in a growing organization we all have very fond memories about her. It is clear she touched all of us in some special way. Mike, Douglas and the rest of Donna’s family, my deepest sympathies at this very difficult time in your lives.

To All of Donna's family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I had the privilege of working with Donna at Robert O'Byrne and Associates and also attended her beautiful wedding to Mike (in the pouring rain!). Donna was such a thoughtful and caring person. We are all very saddened by this loss way too soon but share her faith that she is now with God. May God Bless you all.

Donna was a very special person and I consider myself lucky to have known her for the past thirty years. Losing her is a great sorrow to me, but her goodness, caring and wisdom live on with all those who knew and loved her.
To Mike, Doug and the entire Otto family-I pray that the memory of Donna's love will comfort you and bring you peace.

It was my good fortunate to have known Donna her entire career at UMB. I was her first supervisor and we both worked in the Employee Benefits Division. I found her to be an excellent person and one you could count on to do whatever was necessary to get the job done. Later, I was also fortunate to have Mike in my Group for some time. We, Donna, Mike, myself and my wife, Beth, were not only co-workers but good friends and Donna will be solely missed. Mike and Doug, you are in our thoughts during this difficult time in your life.

I met Donna when she first came to UMB bank more than thirty years ago. At one time she was my supervisor. I also worked along side of you. It was truly my pleasure to know Donna for the time I did. I always felt very comfortable to be around her and talk to her. My wife Lynn thought she was one of the sweetest people on earth. It will be my privilege to sing in her honor for her funeral on Friday.

Mike and Doug:

Please know that I will be there for you. You are a good man and deserve much happiness in this life. I will be hanging around from time to time just to see how you are and if there is anything you need or want to talk about. By the way, your Mom is a sweet lady and it was great to talk to you all the evening that Donna died. I know it is hard now without her but I believe there is no one praying harder for you and Doug in heaven than her.

Your friend,

John

Donna was one of the finest persons I have known. Working with her and Mike at UMB was a great privilege. Having lost my own father on August 2, I know something about the sorrow and loss of a loved one.

Donna's Family
Although I only knew Donna for a short time at IBC, and she may not even have known my name, but her smile, grace, courage, and determination touched my heart. Most of all she always had a smile. My condolences and prayers go out to the family. God Bless!

Mike and Douglas,
Your wife and mom was a special woman. I knew her only briefly at IBC, but her courage and grace touched my life. I could tell that both of you were so precious to her. You are in my prayers.

I met Donna almost 20 years ago when she interviewed me & hired me to work for her at UMB. She not only was a boss, but became a true friend to me, someone I could confide in. I was new to KC, having moved there from out of state & I didn't know a single person in KC. Donna was the 1st of many close friends and I often think back on the time I lived in KC as some of my most favorite years. I thank Donna for that, because she was the one who extended the offer to hire me! I also worked closely with Mike for awhile, in fact sat across from him for a few months, so I can only imagine you feel right now, Mike - I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers & condonlences go out to you & Douglas as well as all of Donna's family.

I have known Donna and the Otto sisters to be caring, loving, charismatic, strong women. Donna is a model of grace and beauty especially during her courageous battle the past few years. Like her sisters, she never gives up fighting, and looked to her faith to sustain her during her illness. I feel privileged to have known Donna. We continue to keep the Moeller and Otto families in our prayers.

I send peace to all the members of Donna's extensive clan and especially to her son and husband. I knew Donna through our bond as classmates at St. Mary's--she had such a loving smile and delightful personality.

I worked with both Donna and Mike at UMB. In fact, Donna interviewed and hired me. She was an amazing person. She knew her stuff and was very respected. I also know Mike. My thoughts go out to him and the family. Donna will be missed.

I only knew Donna for a short time while she was at IBC but during that time she shared with me the gift of a lifetime of friendship. Her smile was infectious making even the most difficult days brighter. Of all the people I have known throughout my life few have touched my heart more than Donna. Her courage, strength and love for her family have left such an indelible mark in mine and so many others lives. Our lives are all richer having had the opportunity to be with her. Mike and Doug, you as well as Donna will remain in my family’s thoughts, hearts and prayers always.
