I remember when my sister, who went to Beaver Damn Baptist with Chris, was terminally ill, and fighting for her life, and Chris always had a smile and kind word of encouragement for her little girl. He was so warm and engaging, and his kindness meant the world to our family. It's easy to see why so many loved him. <3

I don't know the Newsome or Christian family but I am so heartbroken over what happened to their children. Two beautiful souls. I know the angels surrounded Chris and Channon in their finals hours to comfort them. God bless the families and I pray for you often

I have followed this story from the beginning. I cannot imagine the horror and pain as a mom to lose you child so tragically. He is definitely an angel in heaven sitting on your shoulder guiding you daily.

Praying for the Newsom and Christian families. Channon and Chris are Always and Forever in my heart. I never met them here on earth but since the day I heard about them and found out what happened to them, the Lord etched their names on to my heart and soul. I so look forward to the day when I get to finally meet them in Heaven.
Hugh, Mary, Gary, and Deena- you and all your family members are forever in my heart and prayers. You are some of the strongest people I've ever encountered. I pray the Lord continues to give you strength and many graces and blessings to help you through, until the moment you are reunited with Channon and Chris.

I am very happy to hear that Mary and Hugh are going to be in Dallas getting this horrible story out to all of America. I live near Dallas and will be going down there to show my support if I can get into there. It is opening day for baseball and Iam sure that Chris played earlier in the day and tripled off the "pearly gate".
Though I didnt know him, you raised a wonderful son that watches over your tears everyday trying to tell you that things will be okay.
Many of us around the states are very sorry and hope that kind, sincere words help a little and know that we share are heartfelt sadness with you.
