JONES-Christopher D. 53. Of Huntington, NY, on September 11, 2001, at The World Trade Center. He worked at Cantor Fitzgerald where he was a partner. Born and raised in England, he graduated from Cambridge University, Fitzwilliam College in 1969. Beloved husband of thirty-one years of Susan, and loving father of Sarah and Lucy. A Memorial Service will be held at Old First Presbyterian Church, 125 Main Street, Huntington, NY, on Saturday October 27th at 2 P.M.

On April 8, 2013 my wife and I visited the memorial. As we walked around the memorial we reflected on all the lives lost and magnitude of where we were. We stopped for a brief minute and without looking I placed my hand on the memorial. I looked down and my hand was touching the name Christopher D. Jones. Without a word spoken my wife and I looked at each other and tears began to fall down our faces. I felt the most amazing sense of connection to Christopher, a man I never met. Today, 20...

I heard your name called today. 18yr anniversary of your passing. I searched your name just to have a face. My tears fall for you and your coworkers and everyone else that died that day. I say a prayer for your family. May you Rest In Peace. My heart hurts and always will on 9:11.

I remember Chris from my childhood,we had some great times in Mostyn Avenue in the fifties. Although we lost touch as we moved away job wise my thoughts are with you on this day 10 years on.

Chris was brother to Jonny who is my best friends dad. I only met chris a few times when he came over but he was great to be around especially when they were together. we had a right laugh. RIP chris
