Leonard Gochenour Obituary
He was born October 27, 1937, at New Market, VA and was the son of the late Joseph Cletus and Linda Day Gochenour.
Leon had served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gathright Gochenour of Richmond; three children, Kemi Emmert of Mt. Jackson, Juanita Ritchie of Broadway and William Dale Gochenour of York, PA; two sisters, Polly Simmons of New Market and Patsy Whitmire of Timberville; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; four nieces and two nephews.
Leon was cremated and a private service will take place at a later date at the Cedar Grove Cemetery north of New Market.
