Mrs. Genovia "Snookie" Bates-Singleton - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Genovia "Snookie" Bates-Singleton, 65, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at home. She was a native of Savannah, Georgia and attended the public schools of Chatham County. She was a member of The House That Love Built Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Herbert Singleton; daughters Danielle and Celestine Singleton; parents Mr. Ralph Bates and Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilson; and a sister Dorothy Johnson Survivors: daughters, Cynthia Singleton, Shirley (Ervin) Johnson, and Tyanesha Singleton; sons, Louvotta Singleton, Anthony (Sharon) Singleton, and Jerome (Roxanne) Singleton; siblings, Betty Gimlet, and Linda (Robert) Simmons; sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; godsons, Eric Robinson and Kevin Simmons; special brother Norman Washington and special grandchildren, Lillie Mae Simmons, Colette (Ronnie) White, Joseph Brack Jr. and Ramonesha Lonon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral: 1:00 pm Friday December 23, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, 2794 W. US Hwy. 80, Garden City, GA 31408 912-964-2862. Burial: Woodsville Cemetery.
