Nick, Carol, Katie and Peter and all of David's family,
We were out of town and only just heard of David's sudden passing. We are terribly saddened to hear of your family tragedy. We have fond memories of David on his first canoe trip and all of your children at the softball fields or the beach playing volleyball with the "gang". Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I had the pleasure of playing neighborhood games of whiffle ball, basketball and football with Dave as a kid. Even though he was a few years younger then me, he was such a great athlete, he would run circles around us. What a great kid he was. It is so sad to hear of this loss. May he rest in peace and watch over us all. He will be missed by everyone he knew. Thank you for the great memories Dave.

Carol, Nick, Katie and Peter So many wonderful memories are poring through our thoughts as we remember skating and family times spent together. Miles may separate our families, but never ties of friendship and love. We remember David as such a wonderful young man and seems like he became an even more fabulous teacher and mentor. We hold you near to our hearts until we can all be together again.

Dave was someone that I looked up to and guided me through school, athletics and life. He was a second brother. Some of my best (and worst) memories from high school were spent training and cutting weight with Dave for wrestling. Without a doubt, he was the hardest worker on the team. He had a unique ability to get you through a grueling time with a smile on your face. Dave would sink 50 foot puts and call it "good" halfway to the hole (seriously). He wasn't gifted at fantasy football but he loved to participate, and we all loved him. Dave was the man. I'll miss his comedy and general take on life. Thanks for everything!

May you feel the supernatural stength and peace of God .. and never forget God's promise of Heaven for those who have received His Son--His love and His comfort are never ending.
Sorrow is but for a season; but Joy comes in the morning!......... Morning, please come for all Dave Vignevic's family and friends!

I met Dave in highschool when he dated my sister. He was so warm and kind, with his big bright smile and twinkling eyes. He was and always will be forever in my heart one of those few people in life who makes an imprint on others without even trying. I can't express my sorrow enough. But I will carry him and your family in my heart, and try to treat others with as much grace and kindness as he did. Dave, we will carry you with us always. Much love.

Dave Vignevic was an extremely incredible guy. Dave made every impossible moment in the wrestling room seem bearable. Dave was not just good at everything he did, Dave was great at it. For 4 winters in high school Dave was my inspiration. It was an absolute honor to be your wrestling teammate. I am so sorry for what happened to you. To your family, I would like them to know that you weren't just a peer, you were a hero. David please rest in peace. David, I would be honored if god assigned you to be just one of my sons angel. You will be missed but always remembered in the Staiger household.

Dearest Nick & Carol, Catherine, Kate & Peter, Peter & Michelle and Vignevic Family & Friends,
Please know that your faithful friends share deeply in your grief for the terrible, sudden loss of your beloved David. We are extremely sad to hear about David. Please know that we are hurting with you.
You and your grieving family and friends continue to be very much in our thoughts and prayers and on our hearts.
Love is a fabric that never fades, no matter how often it gets washed in the waters of adversity and grief. We personally know death leaves a sting and heartache that is difficult to heal, but Love leaves sweet, wonderful memories that no one can steal. May the precious memories you hold in your heart help soothe your soul at this difficult time and in the rough days ahead.
David will be greatly missed and always fondly remembered by everyone that was privileged to know and love him. He cared deeply about everything and everyone he touched and made our world positively changed. He will live on in many as a great and thankful example of joyful, loving, dedicated and passionate service.
May you feel the warm embrace of loving memories and hear happy echoes of the great times shared together with him and your loving family and friends. May David forever rest in peace. May thoughts of him forever bring Love, Light and Laughter into your lives.
Until grief recedes, peace sustains and loving memory remains, our thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your loved ones.
In God's Word and in His Love, we can find the comfort and strength we need to see us through our sorrow. May God give you more of Himself—more of His mercy and grace during your times of need.
Life is eternal, love is immortal, and death is only a horizon (remembering that a horizon is nothing but the limit of our sight). God's heart is full of hope, love, and peace for you and so are our prayers. May He always continue to abundantly bless and keep you and all your loved ones in His ever-faithful, loving care.
With Heartfelt Sympathy in Faith, Hope & Love,
