Dear Mariko,
Your Dad was a wonderful man, a great performer. We were all always so happy to be in his presence and proud to know him. You can be very proud of yourself, too, for the love and care you gave to him. Your father and daughter relationship was very precious and not unnoticed.
Sincerely,
the Morgan family--Lanny, Marty and Wynter

My children & I send our condolences to each of you for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Bill, simply put-"You were the Man" You will be missed-Booma and family

Bill was an extremely talented and gifted performer! In addition, he was loving father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

We will miss your father and remember the great times at central avenue with our Dad, Bill and Ernie Andrews sharing memories of the great jazz and music they gave us! We love you Mariko ,Your sisters in music Jeri and Nancy Jo Wilson

As a teenager growing up in Chicago, I was introduced to Bill Henderson by my cousin (and Bill's friend) Don Newey as well as the jazz deejay, Sid McCoy. Thereafter, Bill enriched my life in multiple ways. I will be forever grateful for his artistry as both singer and actor.
