COOPER, Vicki Sheree Vicki Sheree (Hensley) Cooper, age 66, of Centerville, passed to her heavenly rest on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Finally, we are able to announce her GOING HOME MEMORIAL SERVICE, August 1st at 1 PM. Service will be held at Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N 9th, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Her legacy and shared memories will be celebrated by many that loved her. A meal of gratitude will follow the service and will be served at the FLC building on the premises. For all that knew her, come and rejoice with us celebrating her life and her going home. In lieu of flowers, please send monetary gifts to Redemption Church, 2554 Edgewood Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306 or Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N. 9th St., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342, in memory of Vicki Cooper.

I’m thankful for the time I had to know Vicki. I humorously called her “The Vickster.” She possessed a great way of viewing life, and calling it like it was. Me, not being “in the loop,” she was able to discuss problems, and often asked me to go to prayer about various needs. Often, those prayers were for her grands. She loved them deeply! Likewise, I was able to ask her ”take” on things I could not speak of with most people, as a pastor. It was a unique, refreshing friendship. I will long be appreciative for the day, Bro. Larry Petree introduced us. Since Vicki’s passing, I have greatly missed her candor, experience & wisdom. On this side of eternity, I have lost a great friend. With a grateful heart, I know we will see her again. The last few steps to her crossing were difficult ones. Yet, God gave her those precious days. The last time I heard from her, she wanted me to pray specifically for her; she and God were having serious discussion! Vicki wanted me to know she had been doing some serious praying. Going all the way back to her childhood days, with the Lord. She meant business! There was no pretense. Her and God were doing some very intense heart work. I believe He drew her up real close, and took her home. To the family, she loved you dearly! She was so proud of the teacher, and the pastor, her & Bro. Lamar helped to give the world. Vicki lives on! She lives in you. I know your hearts are heavy, because you miss her so. Today, being many miles away, we cannot wrap our arms around you; so we wrap you in our thoughts & prayers. Asking God to wrap HIS arms around you, and comfort you with HIS Spirit.

Vicki had a great voice and sang for the lord. She was also one to help you through bad times she would prayed further you. Even though she was sick her self. I miss her evening on line and tell everyone about the lord.
