Tom, Mrs. Tate and all of Susie’s family,
This is so unexpected and so very heartbreaking. Susie was one of the kindest, sweetest and loving beings I have ever known. Her smile and laughter were so contagious. She was my closest of close friends when she moved to Kettering. She always ensured we would have the best of times when together. My prayers are with you and your family during this time.

I would make Sue laugh in high school with my odd ball jokes ( she'd roll her eyes) and with various antics and disturbances I would cause in class. We became "buddies" and friends at school and I enjoyed her smile, her laugh, and yes...her "eye rolling" at my antics....especially when I found myself at the attention of various teachers and principles. I ran into her a few times when I was back in town, and we sort of picked up where we left off...there were no "pregnant pauses" and I was happy and grateful that our relationship as high school friends was so easy and fun and natural and would continue as if years and years had not gone by. I am guilty of not staying in touch with her, and I grieve her passing. I will visit her when I am back in Dayton this fall, and will apologize to her for my negligence in visiting.....I'll try to explain that "life" got in the way. I think she'll understand. God bless you Sue. P.J.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. She was my best friend in high school. She was so fun-loving and adventurous. She was a true blessing when I moved into the area in 9th grade. Sue & I watched the first man walk on the moon together! I look forward to many more fun & interesting times with her in eternity. My prayers to her family as they grieve their loss.
