David ENGLE Obituary

ENGLE, David A. Age 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born January 26, 1953, to the late Thomas and Carlene Engle in Alpha, Ohio. David graduated from Belmont High School and retired from Production Design Services Inc, (PDSI). He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Davin Scarlett. David is survived by his loving wife, Noreen, of 35 years; daughters, Amy (Raymond) Cusick, Brittany (Allen) Paulus, Lindsay (David) Pohlkotte, Danielle Engle and Samantha (Justin) Allen; sister, Kathlene Scarlett and brother, Jerry (Melissa) Engle; grandchildren, Ethan Cusick, Emma Cusick, Danielle Pohlkotte, Aiden Paulus, Noah Engle, Owen Paulus, Lexie Allen, Addison Allen and Easton Paulus; and also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Dave loved to go deer hunting and fishing with his best friends, Don and Donrell Crawford. He loved coaching his daughters in soccer and playing poker "in the hood" until "his fun meter ran out." He and Noreen enjoyed going to the casino together. He was the best papaw to all his grandkids and many "adopted" grandkids. A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Baker Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton, OH 45415. Burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-8PM, Monday, October 5, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cleveland Clinic in David's honor.
