Age 80, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2020. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Blessed Rock, 17 Whitmore Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45417, with Rev. Clifford Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Jefferson View Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com.

Janie had a long life on earth and is resting now in everlasting peace. I will always remember her as family and a dear friend. What a blessing it was to sit in company with her and other family members, just last year. Janie was a master at cracking jokes about serious issues, to get her point across. She would say a few words, lift up her eyebrow while looking you straight in the eye; then she would ease into a sly smile.
To all the family, I offer my condolences and pray that you find strength in God while mourning our loss. Sincerely, Donna Few
