Rev. William Taylor

Rev. William Taylor Coldiron, 81, of Kettering, OH, died Nov. 28, 2020, from complications of COVID-19. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Esther Coldiron, and by two half-sisters, Estelle Gabbard and Vivian Moery. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Paula Haney Coldiron of Kettering, OH, and by a half-sister, Mary Allen of Richmond, KY. Bill, a native of Richmond, KY, served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Then he completed the home study course and was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1982. Bill and Paula pastored Ohio Nazarene Churches in Eaton, Greenfield, Dayton, Miamisburg and Trotwood, plus Eastland Park Nazarene in Lexington, KY. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Dec. 15, 2020, at the Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Ave. in Kettering. The service may be viewed online by going to www.parkviewnaz.org and following the instructions for online viewing. Final interment will be at a later date in the Old Silver Creek Cemetery in Jamestown, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Parkview Church of the Nazarene in honor of Bill's memory.
