BURGSTALLER, Kathy Sue
61, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, in Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Springfield, on June 21, 1959, the daughter
of Paul and Mary (Walsh) Ballentine. She worked at
Honda for 23 years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, was a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Operation Desert Storm. Survivors include her husband, Phillip A.; two children, Sandy Shreve and Jacob Burgstaller and her sister, Diane Beamish. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private service will be held at CONROY FUNERAL HOME with burial to follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. A celebration of life for all family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton and the American Cancer Society.

Kathy, I am very blessed that we were able to be there for each other in the past 15 years.
I so appreciated our lengthy talks, sharing our (you, Joyce and I) meetings (AMOGS) after the meetings, and even your curvy and speedy (your old Domino’s delivery route thru the south side of town) on our way to the SFC. However, Kathy you did scare me sometimes as I was holding on for dear life. Kathy, my friend I am already missing you so much and I know I will always carry your memory in my heart until we meet again .

Mommy, I love you more than anything in this world and I hope that you know peace. You've had a rough couple of years so I think you deserve some well needed rest. Thank you for being the best mom you could be even though I didn't deserve it sometimes, and I can't wait to see you again.
