I am sorry to hear about Dr. Nelson's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Dr. Nelson was such a friend and colleague to my father. He helped my father reach his potential at Miami University. He was also wonderful to our family during and after the transition to Oxford. I also appreciate everything he did for me as a student at MU. He and his program helped me become a successful PE teacher and gymnastics coach. I was honored when he asked me as an undergrad to teach the general gymnastics class for other undergrads. It helped set me up for my gymnastics coaching career. I have the upmost gratitude for everything he did for me. Jody, if you ever need anything from me I will do everything I can. Steve Conner
