Oliver H. Reed, "Ollie," age 84, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. He was born April 21, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late
Thomas and Lottie Reed. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, James E. Reed, Elizabeth F. Strukamp, Jeanette R. Rose, Sandra K. Schmidt, Robert Reed. Ollie is survived by his children, Shane (Tammy) Reed, David (Janice) Reed, Renee Fritts; siblings, Leona Nasal,
Raymond T. (Joni) Reed; grandchildren, Gregory (Rachel) Reed, Emily Reed, Christopher Greene, Ryan Fritts, Billy
(Elizabeth) Larkin, Danielle (Christopher) McManaway; several great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Ollie grew up in West Union, Ohio. He was a painter for over 50 years. Ollie enjoyed fishing, building computers, playing guitar and was apart of the Dayton Cycling Club. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424. A Memorial Service will begin at 7 pm. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to leave the family an online condolence.
